The Metro Phoenix job market continued to show signs of improvement, adding 44,900 jobs year-over-year through August. During the same time period, the unemployment rate decreased 60 basis points, dropping to 5.8%. Out of the 44,900 jobs added, 13,600 were o!ce sector jobs. The three sectors that make up once employment are; business & professional services, information/technology and financial activities.
